Every summer in the last week of July (21st to 25th this summer) we run a soccer camp in the grounds of the church. All kids from 6 up to 14 year olds are welcome,
6-10 year olds play in the mornings from 10:00am to 12:30pm, and 11-14 year olds play in the afternoons from 2:30pm to 5:00pm. The camp
takes place over 5 days, Monday to Friday, with semi-finals and finals played on the Friday evening - parents and spectators are welcome
to come to this and enjoy the barbecue and presentations.
Before any football is played, a 15 minute bible story is taught, and although it doesn't take very long, we insist that kids attend this
if they are to take part in the football. Parents are welcome to sit in and listen to what the children are being taught.
Kids of any skill level are welcome and we make sure the teams are as even as possible so noone feels out of place - it also makes for
exciting and closely matched football all the way to the final!
Costs:
€3 per child per day, or €10 for the whole week, paid on the first day.
€3 per adult for the barbecue Friday evening, children attend this for free!
